Missed period on pill?

I've been on my current pill for 6 months, I ran two pill packets together the last 8 weeks. Usually if I do that, my period is heavier than normal but it's a no show. I had a smear of bloody cm last night and nothing at all today. I imagine it's pretty unlikely I'm pregnant but thought I'd post for peace of mind.

Should I bother to take a test? I don't have one at home but could grab one tomorrow.

(Sorry it's not a ttc 2ww Q but I didn't know where else to put it)
