Mixing breast/bottle

Baby number 4 is due in 12 days! I have always ebf shortest for 8 months longer at for 2&1/2 years! For a few reasons I'm thinking of mixing breast and bottle from quite early on (prob about 8 weeks) formula rather than expressed milk. Can anyone give advice on the best way to do this?! I'm a bit clueless with how to swap a breast feed for a bottle, how much etc.. Just wandered if anyone had done it and had any advice...xxx

From day one i fed my guy formula before bed in a bottle and i breastfeed every meal other then that.. Hes always done fine with it. The odd time if im out and its more convenient ill also give formula then too..

But if you breastfeed and want to start weaning a bit.. I was told to substitue one breastfeed for the bottle.. More for your sake to only drop one breastfeed time a week. Until youve weaned down every feed.

I use similac advanced and i add probiotics to them to help keep him healthy through the winter and it helps his gas
