Hello ladies,

My LO has her MMR is 2 weeks and im pooping it lol im going to have a little box ready with thermometer, calpol etc in :baby:

What was your LO's reaction? I know they're all different but it'd be nice to be prepared :flower: xxx

Its a live vaccine so the symptoms dont tend to show for 5 days to a week! Chloe and Jaycee had a bruise where they did the injection but there was no temperature or the need for calpol. Their injections at 4 months and a yr were worse than the MMR!

It's not always as bad as it sounds: there are a lot of anxious mums posting here about their babies having bad reactions, but you just don't hear about all the others, as who'd bother to post 'I just had the MMR done and my LO is just fine!' Apart from anything else, you'd be bound to sound smug and annoying! Since you ask, though, my LO had absolutely no reaction at all!

Ella was absolutely fine, she didn't even get a fever. I thought she reacted worse with her other jabs then with the mmr actually.

Caidan had his 8 weeks ago and had no reaction at all, he was absolutely fine.

xxx

If it helps hun none of mine have ever had any reaction to it .. bit im still nervous about Jamie having his tomorow lol xxx

a few days after Connah had a temp spike but not too high but he also has a measles type rash on his legs/bum which i was told is a reaction xx

Emma was absolutely fine, I wouldn't have known she'd had it x

I can honestly say that the MMR was the easiest jab for us!! All of the other were much worse!

No bother at all here! Just a little bit of a cry.

We have never used calpol and never had any side effect from any of his vaccines.
