Mom getting on nerves!!! (Vent!)

I"m sorry I have so many b!tch threads, but my mom really irked me today.

I think she found my stash of baby books. She asked if I was pregnant, and she told me to wait until I graduated, got my career off the ground, then found a nice guy (backhanded way of calling OH not nice).

Then she goes on. She told me that I would not be a work at home mom with my own business. She said that just b/c you make plans doesn't mean they'll really happen. Then she said I just had to graduate to get any kind of job.

I mean it's one thing to be honest and say that a lot of businesses fail, it's another to rain on someone's gd parade. I can see what's she says sometimes but I mean dang she doesn't have to be so rude!!!

ETA: This is the woman who told me to my face I had NOTHING to offer a baby a few months ago.

I'm sorry you don't have your mum's support that must be very tough. She could perhaps be more tactful in what she says and try and be supportive even if she doesn't necessarily agree
