Does anyone get their post delivered on a Monday ? I am beginning to think that Royal Mail have given themselves an unofficial day off. We have post delivered every day without fail, either for us or for previous tenants but I have never seen Mr Postie on a Monday. I know for a fact that something was due to be delivered and I bet it will be here tomorrow. I was just curious if its only our area where this happens ?

I dont know if they maybe get a backlog from the weekend? Our post on Mondays are quite scarce but they do still deliver here...its just the leaflets they get paid to post through aswell rather than letters

I really think our postman just delivers letters every now and again,Some days i have none then some days i have 8 or 9 letters come through the door...Must be brummy posties.
One thing ive always wondered is why our postie sometimes posts letters into the letterbox outside our house...There's probably a really simple explanation for it but for the life of me i can think why!

maybe, you are not far from me - perhaps its a north birmingham thing?
So annoying when I am waiting for something to be delivered, if it doesn't turn up on Saturday I know it won't get here until Tuesday as Mondays post is non existent.

somedays we just wouldnt get post, like really randomnly, then we'd get loads. i swear they used to get it all muddled up and couldn't be bothered to come back

thats annoying, nothing for days then almost a whole weeks worth ! Last week I had to do a bit of delivery myself as we got someones letters from a few doors down!

I got post yesterday, some times we go days with out post, and I winder if they collect it up to post, I'm really sad who likes getting post, I feel gutted when the postie doesn't come

I never seem to get post AT ALL anymore. Only package deliveries, but they come from the vans rather than the actual postie. The postie does come most days though, but the only mail I ever get from him is for bloody previous tenants, and it's ALWAYS a Costco money off voucher book, like every fortnight xx

I got mine yestoday! We don't always get it though. Sometimes I order something off ebay on wednesday, they mark it as posted on thursday and I don't get it until tuesday and even then they will throw my packages (regardless of wether they say fragile or not) over the gate and not even bother knocking to see if were in!!
