More attachment space

Hi, i have attached a few pics to threads and my space is nearly full. Do i need to delete the previous pics to get more space to add new ones? and if so how do i delete the threads with them on?

I'm not entirely sure what you mean. Can you give me an example?

When you add photos in the photo gallery using manage attachments at the top is the total of attachments you have added. It is a green bar and is filled with red the more attachments you add. I added some new photos today and mine is nearly all red.

I just wondered if when it is all red does that mean you can't add anymore photos and if so, how do you delete the old ones and will this give you more space back?

I'm not sure that totally makes sense either!!!
