I have a fast letdown, which causes LO to have to gulp and pull off regularly to breathe, and choke fairly regularly, so he takes in quite a lot of air. He's therefore very windy, from both ends, though especially down. HV recommended gripe water, which seems to work to some degree, as does drumming fingers on his tummy (my DH discovered that one). But gripe water has e-numbers in it, and I felt so bad the first time I gave it to him that now something other than breastmilk had passed his lips :nope:. I have only given it to him once more after that, and felt guilty gain. Is there another option?

You need to do your own research on this but I use fennel tea, just a teaspoon (or peppermint but don't mix the two). Works for us as its a natural anti bloat but I would read up yourself before doing it as you need to be happy with it IYKWIM.

Now he is moving onto solids he has it in a sippy cup very weak throughout the day if he is windy.
