More scared at scary films since pregnant?

ok, i know this sounds wierd, but it seems i have developed a fear at scary movies, since iv been pregnant.

i watched blair witch the other day and that freaked me out. i am not a wimp with horror movies but it seems i have turned into a wimp since falling pregnant.

does anyone else get like this? xD

I generally don't watch horror movies, but I am tearing up at everything...even commercials. I think it is just the hormones. If they can control when you are happy or sad, why not scared? Plus, there is probably some subconscious feeling to protect your unborn child, so scary thing seem scarier?

I did! Hubby and I were trying to watch Taken and after that girl got dragged from under the bed by bad guys I couldn't watch the movie anymore. My heart pounded so had I felt sick and had cramps in my tummy . We're sticking to comedies and cartoons now. Oh and I cry over things too - I was watching a documentary on lions and they were doing an ultrasound on a pregnant lion and when I saw those baby lions kicking inside I started to bawl my eyes out

I've noticed I am more paranoid now. I hear noises sharper and can not watch scary movies.

im the same everything is making me jump . the neibours had a firework display and i nearly had a stroke lol . think its just hormones

I have been the same hun. I watched final destination the other day which normally makes me laugh but I was terrified - I had to get my parter to come to the toilet with me in the middle of the night lol.

yep!! meeee!!!! lol i watched the ring the other night and my OH had to come toilet with me about 3 in the morning, i made him check everything was off at the plugs the door was locked etc and made him look all round the bedroom!! what a wimp!! xxx
