Just found out that my friend who had a baby about the same time as me (last year) is 4 months pregnant with her 3rd. Don’t know why its shocked me so much!

I just still cant imagine ever wanting another. I found the first 5/6 months after she was born SO hard that it put me off for life. Feel like there must be something wrong with me? Other people seem to cope with more than 1 kid just fine. I can hardly look after 1!

i dont think i could cope with 2 even though i would love another hun - dont worry :)

xx

I couldn't parent the way I want to with more than one child under 3 I don't think.

I am also aware that Ruby was a particularly textbook baby so I don't even know the full extent of how difficult it could be. If I had had a very high needs first baby and coped ok maybe I would have a little more confidence in my abilities!

Some like me want to do it. I have 5 kids age 4 and under(plus the ther 4) and i love having them close together.

But others like to have a larger gap. Everyone is so different (((hugs))) xxx

I have two, Lottie is 3 1/2 and starting school next week  and Harry is coming up to 8 months, its not easy but no harder than having one! You manage and have learnt so much first time round that you just know how to cope next time! I can't wait for number 3!!!
And seeing them play together is fab, Harry adores Lottie! x

i cant imagine having any more just yet. but i do want more in a few years.
i think everyone is dif and theres nothing wrong with not wanting more.
my sister always said she only wanted one and 7 years after her first she fell pregnant again and that babys now 4 and started school and she admitted shes broody again haha but couldnt afford any more.

The thing is though, you think you wouldn't cope. But if another little un comes along, you just do!

I remember finding out i was pregnant with Sid and i had a massive chat with my mum because i couldnt imagine loving anything or anyone as much as i love Sophie. But the love comes from somewhere! I wouldn't change anything x

there is no perfect age gap, only what is right for you. i have 3 under 5 (when DD was born had 2 under 2!) it is hard work but rewarding seeing them grow up so close.

I think going from 1 to 2 babys will be hard no matter when it is :hugs: xxx

I completely understand. I've spent 6 months without sleep and I'm not the least bit interested in having another. I honestly can't comprehend wanting to do it again. Maybe there is something wrong with me too. :flower:

I can see advantages both ways with having big age gaps vs. small age gaps. I can't see myself with two babies but I know I want another if that makes sense. I think the pregnancy would be so much more difficult because you can't sleep whenever you want and if you have morning sickness you'll have to be throwing up and keeping an eye on the first baby at the same time.

aaahhh bit sometimes you have nooo say at all - two eggs release and bingo an age gap of 14 minutes hehehe. I am farrr too scared to do it again (not that I would want to as two is perfect for us) in case its triplets!

Mind you all those lovely pink baby clothes awwwwww

My hubby and I plan to have 2-3 kids and have decided to try to get them 2 years apart.
