LO has been fighting her morning nap-usually about two hours after she wakes up. I've tried earlier and later in acse she is over/under tired but get the same result.
So she is fine and happy, then begins to show tiredness signs (eye rubbing and a few grizzles) so i start getting her to bed (close cutrtains, put her in sleep bag, put her music on etc) whilst i'm doing this she is getting really grizzly. I start to rock her, bounce her which usually works but this wek she has just been getting more angry and actually grabbing at me which hurts  so i have to pit her down and leave her, i go back in if she doesn't settle but it has been taking up to an hour.

I don't think she is in pain due to the timing of her grizzles only at nap time, i think she is tired but my worry isthatshe isn't as stimulated in the morning as the rest of the day, we go out most days and her afternoon nap and bedtime are fine. How can i stimulate her more in the morning? I'm so tired i just don't have the energy to play for 2hours solid, plus by the time she has breakfast and milk there isn't time for much else.
Help please?!

My 7 month old is exactly the same. She always had a nap 1.5 hours after getting up in the morning. Now she fights it like mad, despite classic signs of tiredness. She screams hysterically if I put her in bed. This last week or so I've tried 15 minutes later each day and I've got to a point the last 2 days that she'll go for a nap after being up 3 hours!! Even then she's reluctant, but gives in. Unfortunately for me she likes to get up at 5am some days and is also waking regularly at night (teething).

I don't have any tips for you, I've just come to accept my LO is changing. We're also going through a clingy stage at the moment so she's like my shadow.

I'll be follwing this thread for tips myself but think it's perhaps just 'one of those joys of being a mummy' that everyone harps on about!!

You're not alone, there are many zombies out there.
