Yesterday I went from feeling fine to full-on vomiting morning sickness and it is no better today. I am also having significant "stomach issues," to phrase it politely. All in all I feel so sick I am literally in tears right now, and to make things worse I'm about to spend 5.5 hours on a plane.

Is there anything I can do to make the flight more bearable? I can't imagine having to stay in a tiny uncomfortable seat feeling this miserable :(

They have something called pregnancy pops that is great for morning sickness. I bet even a sucker or something would make you feel a little better. I would try not to eat a whole lot before getting on the plane that way you won't be blowing up at both ends! I had to get on a 3 and half hour plane ride and I kept getting up every 30 minutes...luckly I had family around instead of crawling over people!

I would definitely try some pregnancy pops or candy to suck on. They helped me when I was on a plane and pregnant. I agree jules22, don't eat too much before the flight. GL and I hope the plane ride goes well.

Good luck bananaz. I had MS on holiday and threw up about 10 times during the flight back. It was truly a horrible experience. Get some tissue and plastic bags packed in your hand luggage, and as soon as you get on the plane, tell someone and ask for sick bags.x

Thank you for the responses. I'd never heard the hard candy tip before, I will definitely buy some. And I am prepared to arm-wrestle whoever I need to to get an aisle seat lol

Explain to the person you sit next to that you need an aisle seat unless they'd prefer to have vomit in their lap. ;)

The hard candy can help. The best thing for me to do was sleep it off. So if you can fall asleep at all, that would be good. Bring some headphones & music & a comfy neck pillow to help. Maybe even those things you put over your eyes to help shut everything out. :)

My suggestion is to get yourself some tylenol pm and sleep through the flight. Just make sure there is someone there to wake you up. Sleep is usually the only thing that makes me feel better. But if you can't sleep try sipping gatorade, my nurse told me that water sits "heavily" on your stomach (which doesn't make a lot of sense, but oh well) and it actually seems to help me.

Oh you poor thing. I feel so bad for you, but you might surprise yourself, you might be alright. Take a lot of snacks with you and keep snacking. Hunger makes it worse. Good luck and safe journey xx

Might you call your doctor and have them prescribe an anti-nausea then get it filled immediately?
I know exactly what you are feeling but I'm not about to get on a plane.
I wish you the best!

Ugh, sorry you feel crappy hun! Hope the plane ride went well!

Thanks so much for the advice everyone. I got hard candy, a box of saltines and a seat near the bathroom. I was still uncomfortable but it definitely wasn't as bad as it might have been!
