Or "All Day Sickness" as I like to call it.... I'm sure this has been asked a million times, but do any of you lovely ladies have any advice for how to cope? Literally just the thought of food makes me want to run to the bathroom and I know i can't be good for Baby if I continue to avoid food... I'm just at a loss for what to do do.

Avoiding food actually makes it worse (though I know basically anything makes it worse!)

I've had morning sickness since week 3. I eat a lot of toast and mashed potatoes - crackers make me gag as does anything ginger. Too many weeks of being sick!

I heard jolly ranchers help...I bought some today so I'm going to test it out. Chips used to help as well (until I overdosed on them, now I feel sick looking at them!)

Seabands sometimes help...enough so that I wear them often.

Note: toast and mashed potatoes doesn't make it go away - it's just somethign I can get down while sick.

Thanks...so far the only things I've been able to stand are plain baked potatoes and apple juice. I'm starting to get sick of the potatoes though. Nothing I've tried makes the sickness go away. I've read about the Seabands and think I might try them...where did you get yours?

I think I might be finally getting out of my "All day sickness" (knock on wood) I did the jolly ranchers idea and they worked well, especially out and about. Anything pineapple, mainly pineapple sherbet, the cold numbs everything so it feels good. Also one thing I found worked GREAT was to eat as soon as I woke up, even if it was like 4AM... just a few bites of something cause your not totally awake yet and don't even get out of bed, have something on your night stand. Or if you get up too pee take a few bites of something, than go back to bed. It helped me A LOT and I think what started my MS to go away :D

You give me hope that maybe mine will start settling down in a week or two. FX!

I got my sea bands at a health food store. They're also supposed to be at pharmacies.

i drank alot of water and soup as it was the only thing i could keep down - i lost about 6lb!

luckily its stopped now but for the first 5wks i felt as tho i had a hangover every day, thats what made me do a test as i didnt feel right x

Yep...between the constant nausea and fatigue, I feel like I've been hit by a truck!

I am 9 weeks 5 days and think I may just be ending my MS stage... :happydance:

I found that ginger ale and cheese-its really helped! I also could tolerate macaroni and cheese....

Hope you feel better soon!! :hugs:

Thanks ADahl87, I'll have to try those...I'm getting so tired of plain baked potatoes! I'm so jealous of you though...I wish mine were easing up! I'm only 7 weeks though, so you give me hope...maybe mine will ease up by 9 or 10 weeks. That would only mean 2 or 3 weeks of this left..lol!

I SO hope that mine starts tapering off around then too (you know, if it can't be sooner...lol). I also seem to get mac and cheese down pretty easily, though it's really hard for me to make it. For some reason, I can really crave the finished product of something (like mac and cheese) but seeing it before it's cooked sometimes makes me really

haha....true! If that's the only thing I can eat that day, sometimes I get it from KFC....not great, I know, but at least it's something!!
