LO is still feeding 4/5 times a night so I dont want to move her into her own room but her moses basket is now too small cos she's such a wriggler. The cot wont fit in our room.

Any ideas?

Perhaps get a crib? bit smaller than a cot but bigger and a little more secure and safer than moses basket x

you could get one of those attachments to go onto your bed and cosleep?

I was going to suggest that but Amelie is a small baby and outgrew her swinging crib at 5 months.

We wont be able to fit anything aside from a moses basket size thing in our room (it really is THAT small! lol) My side of bed is against a wall. lol

She does sleep with me when OH is in work (works nights) but can't do this forever and I fear that the one night he is home she'll be upset at being relegated to moses basket and just not sleep.

Small cheap travel cot?

I'm in the same predicament. :hugs: I was thinking of using the travel cot I bought as its smaller than Poppy's cot so it will fit in our room and can be take down during the day. Not sure how comfy she will be in it though?

I'm just not ready for her to go in her own room

Just read your above post ^^: SCRAP MY IDEA :haha:

It sounds mean but I'm ready for her to be in her own room but i'm not ready for the trek to her room 4/5 times anight. Also have no where comfy to sit so I'll be sitting on the floor in there.

It really is a decision you have to make depending on how comfortable you are. We ended up having LO in her own room at 8 weeks for the same reason. She slept like a starfish so the moses basket was too small very quickly and she detested the swinging crib. We couldn't fit a cot or cot bed in our room so ended up putting her in her own room. I wont lie to you, going in and out of the room in the middle of the night was a killer but she was also an extremely light sleeper so she slept for longer periods in her own room without us waking her up but turning over in our sleep!

I put a beanbag in her room to start with to sit on.

Oh thats a thought - Although I dunno if I could get out of a beanbag!! lol

Hi hun - i had the same prob - Amy outgrew her moses basket at about 12 weeks. We also have no room for a cot in our room, and I was reluctant to put her in her own room at that age. We bought a crib. However, she has outgrown that over the past few weeks, and we had to put her in her own room. So really we only got around 2 months out of the crib. xx

u can get small spacesaver cots from kiddicare. we got one for my mil's as our room there is small, and we stay there for a few weeks a year as my inlaws live far away.
they aint that expencive and there good cots.

I brought a swing crib for my son as he hated the moses basket! it was small enough for it to fit in our bedroom too. it was a god send for us. x

we had to move Willow into her own room earlier then 6 months as she outgrew the moses basket.
As soon as we had done it we all slept better too! i thing we were waking each other up!

x

Move Abigail into her own room, and just bring her into your room in bed with you to feed her, then take her back into her room to go back to sleep.

I agree about the spacesaver cot from Kiddicare. We got it because Damien outgrew his moses but i didnt want to lug his cot into our room or put him in his own room. It hardly takes up any space but is wider than a crib so in my opinion its better as it means my LO can stretch his arms out properly!

We out the chest of drawers in our room into her nursery and then had room for her cot in our room, bit awkward having to go into the other room for your knickers and socks first thing in the morning but its worth it :)

Right I'm going to get her room sorted and try her in there for a night or two. I just HAVE to find the baby monitors cos if she gets loud enough to wake me normally she's going to wake her big sister and I DO NOT want that! lol

Hopefully within the next week and then i'll try feeding her in bed although I can see myself falling asleep while feeding her!! lol

Maybe something like this would work?
