Mothercare xpedior carseat

My LO is 5 months and out of nowhere seems to suddenly hate her car seat. She's always been good in the car and even if does cry she would soon settle off once we got going. When me and OH are in the car together I sit it the back with her and we have a variety of toys and songs/mum smiles to distract her. Today however, was horrible it was OH birthday and we went out for lunch, on the way back she would not stop screaming, she got into such a state that she was gargling and started to turn blue. We had to immediately stop the car and calm her down, once we started off again she started screaming again. I check her bum and that she is fed and happy before we set off. We popped into mothercare as I was wondering if she is getting too big for ur car seat. It's a size 0 and part of the xpedior travel system. It does feel quite buddy and I wonder if she's not comfy. I wondered about getting the 0-1 size so she has more room
But the sales assistant was so rude and told me she had lots of room and that it was a waste of money and that babies cry. I really don't know what to do. I'm dreading taking her in the car now. Any ideas would be gratefully appreciated

i developed anxiety as my lo screamed in the car, he has never cried since i have changed his car seat!, my personal opinion is that the expedior is the biggest load of toot i have ever bought and replacing my buggy was the best thing i ever did, the car seat seemed to be a big bucket style so he was all cramped up inside, hes now 9kg at 7months so we bought an isofix seat, and life is now good, dont even use a dummy in the car anymore, im not sure what to suggest but to look at maybe a new seat

Thank u! Im glad it's not just me. The woman in the shop was so horrible though like I was an idiot and I wanted to put my 5 month on a front facing car seat. That's not what was saying at all. My ideia was a group 0+1 rear facing so she has more room. I hate the mothercare xpedior revel system, such a mistake. I've already bought a new pram. Right going to look at new car seats. Any suggestions x

We had this exact problem, only a 3months. Someone gave us another pram + carseat which I use for the car, I still use the xpedior just not with the carseat. x
