Hi!

Question: What do you do with your 3 month old (or when you're baby was 3 months old)? Walk me through your day... :winkwink:

I'm a stay-at-home mom and struggle to figure out what to do with my twins all day.

Sing songs
Bounce up and down on my knee
Make faces to make him laugh
Show him his toys and get him to play
Read to him

Probs more but cant think

My LO is just over 3 mos... but she pretty much kinda sets her out routine. I swear it changes daily! lol...BUT, whenever she's awake and alert and happy- I try to let her play on her playmate, she loves looking at the lights and sounds and she's been swipping at the toys dangling down... although not very well coordinated yet! hehe. She also loves looking at herself in the little mirror it has that I'll hold up to her- that get's a big smile. I give her a little tummy time too... or just sit her in her high chair (it reclines back so I can sit her up in a good position with the help of a blanket under her)- and she'll watch me cook food etc... or I'll lay her on my lap (knees up) and make sounds with my mouth- which she watches very intentally... but sometimes I just lay her in her rock&play sleeper so she can look around on her own... otherwise she's napping or feeding or being changed! The usual stuff.

We recently bought her a lot more interactive toys... I haven't started reading to her yet, but that's a good one!

They can be very busy taking it all in at this age... which is fun, but she for sure needs more interaction than she used to. I talk to her a lot too. Each baby can vary though.

Hope some of that helped ;)

Put her in her bumbo with a few toys to play with, bouncer, smile and sing to her, take her for a walk and once a week I meet up with my nct friends and the babies smile at each other!

5.00 30min nap

5.30-6.45 tummy time to tire him out and plays with daddy

6.45 bath

7.15 bottle

8pm bed

he's just started screaming at 4.00am and wont go back to sleep unless we pick him up and then he nods off straight away.

we do story time whilst he's having his bottle at bed time as it takes him ages to drink it hhehehe

I would sing songs, read stories just so she heard my voice, play on her play mat, lots of tummy time, bouncing songs, dancing to music, playing with soft toys, sitting in her bumbo, in her baby swing generally being pushed by her older brother.

and repeat.

Thanks, ladies! Just wanted to make sure I was "keeping up with the Joneses," so to speak. They certainly do need a lot more interaction now!

Feed. Attempt a nap. Feed. Attempt a nap. Feed. Go to bed :haha:

I found the Lamaze hand and feet finders kept her occupied for ages at that age.

My LO just sits/lays watching me go about my day to day chores while I chat and sing to her
