Ive been dying to move out of Luton for the last 4 years but when we were discussing it the other night DH said we cant now because of the Ivf, we are under the L&D. I was like Oh yeah, I hadnt thought of that. But does it make a difference? Like if we moved under another trust would we still get our 3 goes? And what if we did that then moved back in to Luton boundaries? Any ideas?

Have you started the IVF process? If not, it is likely that the new pct would expect their criteria to apply. If you have been given the ok though, the new pct might agree to fund your treatment even if you don't meet their criteria, but that does depend on the pcts and it is likely not to apply to number of cycles.

The best thing to do is to contact the pct where you intend to move and ask them.

We have our follow up appointment on 4th January and we'll be referred then. We want to move next year some time so hopefully be preggo by then. But maybe not..thanks 4 advice x

Hi

Not sure if this applies in all areas... we were treated outside our area and we were dealt with under their "rules". They simply arranged the transfer of money from our local PCT to them. It worked in our favour cos our local PCT withdrew 2nd go funding, while we had 2 in the area we went to. Not sure if this applies it you move?

Good luck.
x

Avoid Oxford area, its rubbish as you only get 1 funded IVF!!!
