Moving LO to own room

Hi, we're going on hols in 3 weeks, but i have recently started to feel it's time to move LO into his own room. He now has a consistent bedtime of 8pm, and since we go to bed later we have to sneak in so as not to wake him - he's a light sleeper - and when my OH's alarm goes off in the morning it wakes him. Plus it would be nice to be able to turn over in bed without cringing everytime it creaks!
My question is - is it worth putting him in his own room for 3 weeks, then having him in with us on hols for 2 weeks, then back on his own when we're home? Or should we just stick it out and do the move when we get back?

if it was me i would prob wait till after your holls then start a fresh in his new room then its not a constant change for him. but its totally up 2 u what feels right for u xx

I would personally wait until you are back from your holidays rather than getting LO used to their own room, then back in with you somewhere else and then on their own again.
It could take a few days to get used to being somewhere different so it will be easier on you both as well.
