3rd day in a row with MS. was really hoping it was gonna wait until a day or two after 6w like it did last time. started even sooner. i guess me and the bean arent off to a good start :(

I feel for you Milosmummy

I got terrible morning (all day) sickness at 6 weeks this time which happened to be the day before we went to Disneyland Paris by ferry. It was a terrible journey there and back and I would be stood in ques for rides either gagging or having to dash off to the loos to heave!

Like having to go through childbirth, sore boobies, growing pains and stretch marks isn't bad enough we also have to endure the torture of weeks of sickness! As they say though, it's all worth it in the end.

Take care and try to rest lots (easier said than done with a LO) xxx

Ughh I've had it since yesterday morning, and it hasn't gone away :( at all...no relief....what will I Do if this keeps up!! How long does it normally last? like how many weeks? I didnt have it with my first 2 pregnancies at all.

i guess it kicked up and turned in HG already. i was hoping for a day or two more of just getting sick once a day. i had that for a week last time.
today was a total of 5 so far :(

I am actually hoping for MS lol! I am 5w2d and wondering when I will get symptoms lol.

Ive been getting mine on and off since I was 3.5 weeks. But the last week Ive been getting it worse and worse each day. Come 6 weeks I reckon I will have all day sickness which is very different from the pregnancy with my son.

I didn't get any ms until earlier this week so about 8.5 weeks. Now have it constantly day and night! Haven't actually been sick but am gagging a lot and feel absolutely dreadful. Am trying out travel sickness bands at the moment which seem to be helping a bit.

After feeling a little bit of nausea on and off for a few weeks, my MS properly kicked off yesterday, along with backache/period-like pains. Yuk!

I read somewhere that MS is a good sign, means that everything is going along as it should and may even mean that your less likely to miscarry. (But I had very bad nausea-like MS last time, and I did miscarry, so maybe this doesn't make sense!)

I have a question though... Is anyone else working and struggling to keep the MS under wraps?? I hold down a managers job at a fairly big company, and I find myself having to hide in the disabled toilet when I feel most sick! I'm picking up the weirdest of habits/behaviours, which I'm sure will make my colleagues will start guessing very soon. Like yesterday, I had to go into a 4 hour boardroom meeting, and practically took an entire picnic in, to stop me throwing up over the boardroom table!! People must just think I've got a large appetite or something! Lol.

Anyone else having similar experiences?

i know exactly how that goes :hugs: with my son i couldnt even keep down water. i didnt eat for 5 weeks and was in the hospital on and off throughout 1st tri.
usually they say eat plain. nothing greasy, cheesy, spicey etc. basically anything that tastes too good! keep to bananas, toast, rice, and crackers. that didnt help with me since i had Hypermesis and that cant really be treated with normal ms solutions. and to make sure you eat often through out the day so the hunger doesnt cause nausea.

Thanks for the advice! Yeh, bananas have been a life saver so far! With my last pregnancy I ate packet after packet of ginger biscuits... I put on a awful lot of weight, so trying to be healthier this time... well, for now at least! ;)

If it's any consolation to anyone I've had TERRIBLE sickness since I was 5 wks gone, but over the last few days it's definitely improving!

I've been in hospital 3 times, vomiting small amounts of blood, and in ketosis, so had to go on a drip. I've also had to take medication, but thankfully I've been feeling more human for the last few days. I just hope I'm not speaking too soon!! I'm looking forward to putting on the weight I've lost! lol
