So I have been taking mucinex the past few cycles to help with ewcm, and I really feel it may have dried me up. I have had less ewcm, barely any, until after I O for some reason. The one I'm taking only has the active ingredient guarifesin (or however you spell it) but it is the extended release. Does this make a difference? Anyone have a similar experience?

My experience with guaifanesin was very different...I was using it when I got pregnant with my daughter a couple years ago, and am using it now TTC#2. I find that it gives me more days of slippery/wet cervical fluid. I do have PCOS and take Clomid, which tends to dry up mucus, though, so I only take it to offset the effects of the Clomid.
