mucus plug? can someone help? tmi....gross

ok so, i have been having lots of contractions. and i went in last night for them and she said i was dilated 1 cm the last few days i have had no change in texture or amount of discharge. but it does have a tint of a brownish color to it all of a sudden the past couple days. kinda like ol blood. and it has been totally clear this whole time. discharge is still watery like it has been but the slight tint in color has me wondering if this could be the beginning of mucus plug. even though its not bright red and thick.

I would say YES! I was told and readin my books that mucus plug can be clear, yellow, greenish, brownish, pink tinged, or bloody. If it doesn't have blood in it than it isn't considered your "bloody show" but it can definitely be your mucus plug!!!
I had something last week that was absolutely disgusting and it was yellow with a slight green spot in it.. huge thick glob lol

the only thing that im worried about is that its not thick its very watery could that still be it?
