mucus plug

If there is supposed to be a mucus plug, how can we keep bleeding? Does this mean there is no longer a mucus plug? I bled again today but literally for like 15 min and one small tiny blood clot. This was the darkest blood it's been. Like a nose bleed color.it wasn't a lot though. But back to the mucus plug.. still have it or no?

I think you can loose parts of it and it regenerates itself. Maybe?

I've had only implantation spotting, nothing else yet. I hope someone else has the answer.
