mucus plug?

Everytime I go to the loo and wipe I have snot like mucus sometimes its clear, wet, yellow and comes in little chunks. Does this mean my cervix is ripening?
My pelvis area around my pubic bone really really sore.
Anyone have this pelvic pain?
Is your babies head down?
Sorry I'm just so confused

I have this also and when I had a check up baby is head down and engaging. As far as I know it's the mucus plug coming awaiting little bits. I keep looking out for a show but nothing yet!!

You gave me good news thank you! I been getting this the last two weeks and saw the midwife told she couldn't tell if he was head down but she wrote in my notes that he is 4/5 engaged.thank you I'm less worried about him being breech haha

I'm 36 weeks and have had this for 3 weeks now and my midwife said it was mucus plug but that it keeps regenerating so I'm still getting bits of bit coming away, Also my pubic bone feels like I've been kicked had this for few weeks too and I was told baby is head down and 3/5 engaged so I imagine thats what it must be
