mummy mitts - anyone got them?

Am sure some Mums will find them wonderful For me, I have a pair of mittens where the "mitten" bit flips back and velcros to the back of the glove. Inside is a fingerless glove, so I have the dexterity to do whatever needs to be done, then just flip the "mitten" bit forward again! Mine are Thinsulate, cost me something like a fiver, and have lasted for 8 winters (including 1 in Canada!)

I have a pair of black leather gloves. They keep my hands toasty and dry.
They also look stylish and didn't cost £18!!

Oooh I remember seeing these on Dragons Den ages ago and was telling OH about them the other day sun my hands were freezing pushing the pram. He thought it was a stupid idea as did the dragons but I think they are rather cool, although a little pricey and gimmicky.

I think I'd rather just have a pair of regular gloves. I have 3 pairs of gloves. One regular set of mittens for skiing, a pair of "hobo" gloves that have the finger tips cut off, and a pair that has a flap that can cover your fingers or fold back and stay out of the way when needed. All 3 pairs of gloves that I have cost less than those mitts cost.

I just have my leather gloves - they're comfy, warm, and have great grip so they work all the time - I don't get what the benefit is of being able to leave them attached to the stroller while you take your hands out? I just stuff mine in my pocket lol

I have to admit to having some but they were a present in January when Tom was tiny.

They do work ok but I found them a pain to get in the right place on the pram handle and hated not being able to easy to move my hands around. Won't be using them again this winter! They are really warm though.
