Do they ever stop and just look like those babies in the cots on the adverts? Lol Lola since birth kicks, punches, thrashes, grunts, the lot and I thought she was getting better but last night she was constant and I've hardly slept, even my ear plugs didn't help.do they ever grow out of this or is it a perminant thing? Xx

I'd like to know this too....................................yawn.com:sleep::sleep::sleep:
Flo keeps me awake all night:wacko::dohh:

i feel your pain sister! Leo grunts his way till morning! ive started swaddling him as he would tend to wake himself up by hitting himself in the face! x

yes, it does stop!!
but then it may turn into something else.
my lo was clapping away and cooing last night at 3:30am.

Jaiden picks his legs up and bangs them down. wakes me up alll night. i stil swaddle so god knows what he'd do with is arms if they wernt tucked away lol

I hope they do. We have 3-4 hours of silent sleep and then he goes... He makes so much noice... Sometimes he even wakes himself up. No sleep from 03:00 till the morning. I don't get it! Is this normal?

My LO is exactly the same NEVER shuts up all night, I've resorted to wearing my earplugs but it still doesn't drown out her constant noise haha

My LO is the same too!!! So noisey! Are ear plugs safe to wear? He sleeps silently in the day and at night he wakes me at 2.45 am, he is always asleep but grunts, groans, kicks etc! Soooo noisey!

Mine is the same. She'll sleep soundly for a while, but grunt for a few minutes here and there and I always think she's going to wake up and start crying so it wakes me up.

Does anyone knows if it will ever stop? It's impossible...

Mine is an all night leg banger and ends up at the other end of the cot. I can hear him thrashing about from downstairs. I have crept in and watched him in awe as he sleeps right through it. I find it spooky, I keep thinking of poltergeist or something.

My LO has gotten consitently louder to the point where we are moving him into his own room this weekend, mummy needs sleep!

alfies 10 months and hes still a thrasher in his sleep. The amount of times hes woken me in the night with a slap to the face or just him thrashing in general :dohh:

<3

I actually wish mine was noisy as i worry when he is so quiet!!! ha ha... cant win hey! :)

It's really common for newborns to be ridiculously noisy sleepers. Isobel started getting quieter around 10 weeks, before that it was like sleeping in a farmyard! She was so noisy I couldn't sleep with her so me and hubby took shifts so I could spend half the night in the other room.
