What was the weight of your first baby , second baby and so on...and whether they are a boy or a girl
Im just interested to know if second babies+ tend to be smaller or bigger....

My son weighed in at 9lb8 which no one was expecting him to be so big and after reading a few things online im slightly worried this baby will weigh more

If you dont mind posting additional details like whether your babies were early or late , quick/slow labours, that would be lovely too...
please help ease my mind lol

ooh I'd like to know this too. My first was only 7lb 2oz so I'm not worried about no2 being bigger. I was 6lb 7oz (38 wks) and my younger brother was 7lb 13oz (39 wks.)

Second son:
Waters leaked 38 weeks
Induced very late at night at 38+1 (pessary)
Born 38+2 after an established labour of 48mins

i was 7lb2 and my little brother was 8lb15 both of us were 5 days past due dates. I was about a 12 hour labour, my brother was a 3 hour labour and he was out in 1 push and very blue as he was in shock haha. amelie was 6lb4 so Im hoping this one is another under 7lber!

born 2 days over weighed 9lb 8oz succesful vbac, 10 hr labour, but was a forceps delivery with episiotomy and stitches

born 10 days early after a sweep weighed 8lb 3oz successful vbac, long labour (25 hrs)but popped out after just 3 pushes, no stitches!

First baby - Boy, 5 days over due, slow black labour as his head was in the wrong position, 32 hours total, 7lb 11oz.

Second baby - Girl, 4 days early, really easy labour I thought it was a false alarm til I went to hospital to be told I was 8cm, she was born an hour later. 7lb 6oz

Addy was a long labour, then emergency section at 7 days overdue and weighed 7lb 8oz

Jemima was a planned section at 39 weeks and was 7lb 3oz. Bizarrely, we had her weighed 2 weeks later (when I would have been 40+7) and she was 7lb 8oz, the same as Addy!

Ds 1..... Waters broke at 37 weeks, then induced active labour for 5 hours. Weight 7lb 7oz

Ds 2..... 10 days over due to be induced on the Mon went into labour sun night, in labour for 10 hours.
Weight 8lb 8oz.

I found 2nd labour easier even though I was in pain for longer. With ds1 I was induced and had the drip up for 5 hours when they realised not all my waters had broke so they broke them, and I just started getting full blown contractions straight away, felt I had no control over them.

Nathan-Induced on due date due to risk of infection from leaky waters.He weighed 8lb 12 and was out in 6 hours.

Aimee-8 days overdue,natural birth,8lb10 got to hospital fully dilated and delivered her 50 minutes later!

Owen-9 days overdue,natural birth,back to back.From first contraction to birth was around 2 hours(about an hour in delivery ward)10lb5!
He got stuck and had to be pulled out.I knew he was big and begged them not to let me go over,but they said he was maximum 9lb yeah right!

Thankyou.I did have gas and air untill they took it off me cos I "wasnt concentrating"! so I done all the pushing stage without anything,I actually told my oh I was dying

Went home 3 hours later too

Chris was a week late and was 7lbs 8 oz. Celeste was 4 days early and weighed 7 lbs 1.5 oz.

I was in labour for 10 hrs with him and a 3rd degree tear and had an epi. With her, it was quick. We got to the hospital at 10:15 am and she was born at 10:55 am. In this case, I had a 4th degree tear and no medication (there was no time).

i have 2 boys
first was 12 days overdue when i had my waters broken.
he was 8lb3 and 59cm long. i was cut with him

i was dreading baby 2 as i didnt think i could handle any bigger lol

second i went into natural labour at 4 days overdue
he was 7lb8 1/2 oz and 52cm long. internal second degree tear, small outside tear
if i had gone longer i no corey would of been alot bigger then zane was

Lucas was 38 weeks and was 6lb 8oz- waters broke 37+6. waters broke, suspected placental abruption. Induced to try vbac- vbac unsuccessful and had EMCS number 2
