im thinking of making some cds.

im super stuck on what to make. chillout music makes me wanna cry and i dont want anything too heavy. i need something that makes me happy but also will relax me. i cant imagine pushing out baby to someone singing in the background. i have a pregnancy cd which is soft soothing music but it makes me cry all the time. i will be taking this one.

any ideas girlies? anyone got a play list they have for birth i could see for ideas
?

thank you :) xxxxxx

i love riverdance music, duelling violins......... chilling yet up beat and gives me energy

Think I'll take a mixture of stuff - some relaxing folky stuff and some more fun stuff - who knows what I will feel like listening to and it could be some time! More than likely it will just start to annoy me and I'll have to switch it off!!

theres a song called paper cranes by andrew bayer which is deffo going on my playlist. i'll also be having some zero 7, portishead, air etc

zero 7, portishead, air - all good ideas thanks, not too intrusive

oooo zero 7 good choice :) so far i have florence and the machine, pure moods and a pregnacy cd. i want to take my fleetwood mac collection as i love them but i duno if it will be to upbeat to take :p

Upbeat could be a good distraction early on though, I wouldn't want to get too introverted with every contraction and feel overwhelmed by the pain

love this one :)

with my daughters birth, i listened to the cure, it was amazing, i think i will be taking in my discography again, a bit of Johnny Flynn (much to my partners dislike) Laura Marling...not too sure, anything that makes me happy, would like this baby to be born to Robert Smiths wonderful voice too though :D xxx

I only have my iPhone and the battery is rubbish. Apparently at a lot of hospitals they won't let you plug things in to charge??

u hav to get anything with a plug pac tested a few days before going into hospital. they worry using untested equipment will cause a power shortage or something lol. im hoping they will supply me with a cd player xxxx

They have CD players and TVs in the hopital I am booked with

im hopin to go to a hosp tour on sat. excited :p

we had a quick tour at antenatal class last week - def made me more excited about it all!
