my 5 month old son is wheezy and coughs day and night

already poted on childrens health and nutrition but got no answers

my 5 month old son has had a cough for 5-6 week now and i wheezy all the time, i have taken him to the doctors twice but when i arrive he seems to get better and doctors say there is nothing wrong hes up alot of the night coughing and there is astma on both side of the family in babies and toddlers hes also 20lbs which i no is slightly over weight but he is very long for his age and i no over weight babies and have breathing problems but i think its more then him being slightly over-weight
has onyone else experienced this

also i dont think its anything in my home as he is the same at mine and my partners parents houses, well actually anywhere i take him and he gets worse when he is excersing for e.g tummy time or when hes lying on the floor kicking about for a short period of time ....

He may very well have asthma but they dont usually like to diagnose children under 2! This is what I was told, so they prescribed her a pump which we use every winter because she gets ill.
I would keep on at the doctor hun because come winter when all the bugs start spreading he could end up with rsv! Jaycee had this and its not pleasent.

hes not over weight at 20lb hun dont worry about his weight if hes still big as a young child thats when you need to worry

if hes weezie go back to the doctors every day till they help
