Hi ladies.

My boy the past 2 nights has woke up in middle of night screaming. He doesn't seem fully awake but is in hysterics. His dummy won't console him so we cuddle him for 5 mins and put him back down as he's drifted off.

Anyone else experiencing this with a baby of similar age and have any idea what's wrong?

It almost sounds like night terrors or nightmares. Does he do this multiple times at night or just once?

Could be his teeth - my eldest used to do this

Phoebe has been doing this the past week and a tooth broke through yesterday...

Yep were going through this too! It's been going on 3 nights now always around the same time 4ish!! :-( it's awful because he's unconsolable and i have no idea why he's doing it :-(

Are you getting the sleep crawling yet? makes nighttime so much fun....NOT! Lol

mine pushes himself along the cot and bangs his head on the top of the cot :dohh: we have to keep pulling him back down :nope: ours is teething and has been waking up lots in the night too :hugs:

Might be teeth then. He doesn't seem in too much distress with them during the day though?

Yes my lo has been doing the same the past 3 nights, I think its the teeth. I'm so tired though I actually sprayed hairspray under my arms instead of deodarant today!!

:happydance: I feel your pain. Is your Lo ok through the day?

same here but she wakes what feels like every hour crying, only started in the past week. strange!

It's a strange one. Must either be teeth, nightmares or perhaps the start of separation anxiety? Seems to be quite common round about this age, the screaming.

She is a bit moany through the day as well but mainly if she is irritated at not being able to do/get something. Not really sure if its the teeth.
