Okay, Ladies...
Here is my update since you all have been so wonderful about supporting me. I only hope that I can do the same for all of you very very soon!!!
This morning, DH and I got up and went to the doc. We got there at about 7:45am (in the snow!) and DH had to do his sperm sample. At first, the nurse told me to go in and "help" DH get his sample but... ummm... no. That was so uncomfortable. In the end, I left the room and he took care of things on his own. LMAO!!!
Then we had to wait for the sperm to liquefy and then it needed to "cook" (as the nurse said... LOL) in the little machine for 45 minutes so we went over to the hospital commissary and got some breakfast burritos. (I am STILL paying for it! They messed up both of our bellies!) After a cup of coffee and food, we went back to the docs office and waited some more. We watched all these preggo girls come in and out but we were just so excited that it did not even phase us!
About 15 minutes before the IUI, my little sister called me. Today was Heathers 27th birthday so she was all jazzed. She wants me to conceive on her birthday! She says that the baby will then be conceived with her love too! LOL!!! We have a funny but wonderful relationship! (She is my only sibling left in Southern California.)
When doing the IUI, My Dr and his nurse, Susan were like, "Swim! Swim!" and Jack was like, "Go Minions!" LOL! I have a crazy reproductive team! I laughed. They said I may have cramping during the actual IUI insertion but I did not feel anything so lucky me!
Once inserted, I just laid there for like 20 minutes and then had to get up, drive an hour back to Anchorage and went to work.
I AM SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO EXCITED, HOPEFUL AND THRILLED!!!!!! Life is great! I just am so happy to know I can O and that we have done everything possible to make this OUR MONTH! Now I have a TWW but I have decided that I will start testing on the 31st! (9 days from now. )
Thanks again for all the love and support!
Sarah
