I don't even know how far along I am (online calculator says a little over 9 weeks), but my body feels terrible. I know it only gets worse, right? My legs ache like I've been walking on them for hours, but I've been sitting here in my room most of the day. My joints feel stiff, especially my neck. My stomach is constantly switching between being bloated and uncomfortable and slightyl queasy. I have to pee a lot (I thought this wasn't supposed to happen until the baby was actually big enough to press on your bladder). I have a headache!
I'm sorry to complain, but I'm keeping how I feel a secret to everyone else...they'll start suspecting something, or wanting to take me to the doctor, and I can't have that yet.

How can I make myself feel better?!

I always said before I even found out I was pregnant, I felt like I ran for hours and then got hit by a truck :haha:
I think the only way to make you feel better, is rest! Take a warm shower, not hot, take frequent short naps during the day, and for nausea try to eat very small frequent meals. I eat saltine crackers and drink ginger ale, it helps a lot :flower: And for headaches, eat, and drink water, and if it's still bad, consult your doctor and he/she will most likely tell you Tylenol is okay. Depending where you're from!

The first trimester is probably the worst. You will feel like absolute shit. Sorry to be so upfront but its true. The second is really quite easy and the third is just uncomfy. Just take it really easy, sleep when you feel the need too, dont push yourself and REST REST REST!

If you are about 9weeks you have to go to the doctor; they like to do an early ultrasound at 10wks to make sure the baby is there and healthy. It gets better eventually, believe me! It won't feel like it but it does get better. I had bloating and migraines, my legs didn't want to move and I was always exhausted; felt like I was going to die some days. As I said; it gets better!

And yet again; you need to go to a doctor. Not just for babies sake but to make sure you are healthy and don't have anemia etc.

It'll get better Sam, I promise. :flower: You will need to arrange an appointment with your GP for your 10 week scan. But stay calm and don't stress!

Oh gosh Sam! I know how you feel! I feel like I have a bad cold or something, minus the stuffy nose, etc. super achey, exausted, and whatnot. Ouch!

1st was easy for me!
i didn't feel pregnant at all apart from a little sickness
as soon as i hit 12 weeks - hyperemesis, hospitals, doctors. aaah

I've only just started to get sore recently, cramp is killing my legs!

if you just keep getting as much rest as possible it will get better and hopefully the 2nd tri will be good for you! x
