Right... here goes. I'm never organised, never save and always spend hundreds on Credit Cards and I still haven't paid off last year so I REFUSE to spend on them again. So this year I'm budgeting and planning. Saving £200 in October wage, £200 in November wage to do the shopping and £100 in December for last minute bits and food.

So firstly, the list -

Cards - £20
Wrapping paper, tags etc. £10
OH -£100, not sure what to get him yet
LO - £100, not sure what she's getting yet, she already has everything!
Nephew 1 - Pirate Ship from Wilkinson, something else £20
Nephew 2 - Jack in the Box from Amazon £20
Mum - "Nanny" Photo Frame with pic of LO, All-In-One Sleepsuit, Walnut Whips £25
Dad - Personalised Lighter from Amazon £15,
Nana/Papa - Frame with Pic of LO, Plant? £10
Friend - Jewellery £10
Friend's LO - Toy £10

Pampering for Self - £80 (acrylic nails, new outfit and jewellery for Xmas and New Year)

Total £420

Woohoo, in budget!! Let's hope I can keep it that way and then I can treat myself to extra!

 that sounds perfect! well done!

youve inspired me to do my list!!

I'm obsessed with lists now, I make lists of housework, food shopping, budgets - I just can't help myself!!

I don't know what to get LO, she already has loads and it's her birthday next month too! I might cut it down to £50 and save the rest. Probably get her Xmas day party dress, 1 big toy and some bits and pieces.

No idea what to get my OH either, he doesn't get very much from his family so likes lots of little junk to open. I would like to get him 6 or 7 presents at least. He likes Arsenal, Football, Cars, ummmm? He likes sentimental things too. Last year from LO I got him a "Me and My Daddy" frame, a personalised lighter with pic of LO and message and a World's Best Daddy keyring. Would like to get something similar this year but running out of ideas... a mug or socks don't seem the same. Hmmm x

my sister got BIL a cushion from photobox with a pic of her and LO but odd but he loved it!!
a personlised wallet? you can get a message sewn in.
footie shirt?
clothes?
electric toothbrush adam loved his! wasnt really expecting him 2!
or a watch inscribed?!

if i were you id leave OH till the end!
therefore you can trawl through all the catalogues when they come out, and while hes out xmas shopping hes bound to say"oh i saw this really good....." which will give you some ideas!

You haven't factored in the food hun will that be from the remaining 80?

Im such a list maker..I even make lists of lists i need to make

Bugger, I did forget the food! Yeah it'll have to be from the remaining 80. We eat pretty well anyway and have a generous budget of £80 a week for the two of us so I'm sure I won't need much more. A nice gammon roast and plenty of treats :)

I will leave LO and OH to last. Use my £200 in October to get everyone else.

I'm crap at picking OH clothes, he always pretends to be pleased with it, wears it once and throws it to the back of the wardrobe. He's very fussy.

There's loads I could get him but not sure how much of it I can afford. We're pretty skint but I know he would love a new Arsenal top, new footie boots and shin pads. I get him a watch every year haha. His wallet is a state so a personalised wallet sounds really good - I love that idea! Off to look on ebay now :) xx

Eeek

I'm back again. It's LO's birthday in a few weeks so I'm trying to plan her birthday AND Xmas in advance!

Birthday Budget £80

Sit-To-Stand Giraffe £24.99
Peppa Pig Little Library Book Set £3.64
Teletubbies DVD £2.99
Fisher Price First Baby Blocks £7.50
Fisher Price Little People Wheelies £7.50
Chad Valley Kids Musical Band Set £12.99
Nike Trainers £20

Christmas Budget £100
(will finish this later, making tea)

Yep! I have worked hard all year and haven't spent a penny on myself so i'm getting pampered :-D
