Hi ladies,

My OPK was positive on Sunday and I assumed I was 1DPO yesterday but this Fertility Friend app is actually saying I am 1DPO today... I'm guessing its correct!

What do you ladies think and is this how you go about it?
Obviously we cant pin point when the eggs gets released but I guess it makes sense to use the next day after a positive OPK as your ovulation day!

I feel like I've lost a day now haha

I think the way it works is you get the positive OPK (the hormone surge), then they assume you O the next day, since it happens after this hormone surge (Monday in your case). Which makes Tuesday 1 DPO. I know... frustrating!!! I remember being surprised and thinking I O'd a day before my charts said I did on FF.

Ovulation typically occurs 12-36 hours after your positive OPK, but can be as early as 6 hours or as late as 48 hours, depending on what point in the surge you caught it!
