My little peanut 7wk 5day scan

So I got my first scan today and everything was good. When the pic came up on the screen the doc said "heres your little peanut". Heartbeat was 169 bpm. I got pushed back 1 day. I thought I was 7+6 but they moved me to 7+5 with an estimated due date of June 29th. I am so excited.

Can I ask a really weird question? I am so confused with angles and perspectives my hubby tried explaining it to me but it went right over my head. The first piccy, is that like looking directly at your stomach, front on?

I have been really tired but all my nausea which was really severe seems to be letting up in the past couple days

Was your due date changed due to your scan? Or is your due date according to your lmp? Just curious because my pregnancy was pushed two days ahead. I went and thought I was 6w3d and doctor said it was actually measuring at 6w5d. My due date is july 4th, just curious if that changes it to july 2nd or if it stays the same.

Im not sure if 2 days makes a difference. I went for my scan today at 8weeks 2days and measured at 7weeks 4days. My scan doctor said the 5 days isnt huge and she doubts that the specialist and midwife will change my due date. The midwife just said it nice to have the second date so that if the 25 of june comes and goes we wont worry about inducing do to the 5 day room window. Now once the 30 of june comes and goes they will start thinking about inducing.

I guess it just means i ovulated a few days later then I thought. Or my period was doing one of its 32 day cycles that i sometimes get.

Does that make sense? haha Im not great at explaining things!

Not sure if your asking me but i was told most doctors like to do internal till about 11 weeks as it gives them a better picture of the baby, yolk sac, cervix and whatnot.

Thank you guys all so much. I had an internal exam and it was awesome because I got to hear the heartbeat, and no I don't really think you have to change your due date just because you measured a little different because the baby could catch up

Damn... i was hoping to get my due date made earlier so i can go out on maternity leave earlier! it makes the difference of my last day being on a friday versus a tuesday. be nice to end on a friday

They may change it. I would ask about it. My midwife changed mine but since it is one day I didn't change it on my ticker. It says on my scan pics now edd June 29. when from my lmp it was June 28th.
