My poor baby...I don't know what to do!

Okay so I had a really bad case of thrush on my left breast when we first startd breastfeeding. I was treated with a medicine but they didn't see it in my son's mouth so didn't treat him. I took him off that breast until I got rid of the thrush completely. As soon as I put him back on that breast, he caught it in his mouth!!! Now he has those white marks in his mouth and he cries at the breast. He absolutely refuses to eat from the breast and has to have a bottle of ebm. Well he has completely dropped two daytime feedings and I counted how many oz. he had today and it was only 13 oz! When he wakes up in about 2 hours I will feed him about 4 oz. I know he is in pain, and now I am on medicine for thrush and so is he. We are going to get rid of this for once and for all!! But will I be able to get him back on the breast after all this? Also he is taking 1ml of this mdicine 4 times a day. It taste sweet, I feel like I am messing up his little digestive system. Please offer advice! What do I do about him not eating!

how often is he going between feeds could u try n shorten it so hes feeding more often just till its clears sucking may be agravating his mouth so litle n often may work
have u tried using a breast shield my lo wont take one but yours may n u can get him back to the breast now im no expert but we had thrush a while back n stupid doc only treated her so i ended up with it painful n i passed it back again took ages to clear coz i didnt know u both needed treating even if only one has symptoms good luck

wish i would have known about both needing treatment too. Or else we wouldn't go through this mess! LO is doing better, he took the breast this morning. So i was able to just store what i pumped earlier. I am gonna start getting him up every 4 hours during the day, regardless if he wants it or not! lol
