My son hates me!

Well I'm sure he doesn't, but that's what it feels like! He's 11 weeks old and all he does when feeding is kick and pull at me, shout and cry! I think this may be why his weight gain has slowed down but I'm not sure? Help!

Is it wind? They can get like that if they've got sore tummies or are trying to poo!

I do wind him in between switching breasts and he always brings up a big burp etc, and is constantly pooing/farting ( sorry hate that word) so I don't think it is that..

Babies do this sometimes I am covered in scratches. Try getting a breastfeeding necklace for him to hold on to. It could also be that your milk isn't coming out quick enough so you could try doing compression whilst he feeds.

Do you feed in a quiet room? Is he distracted? Not always possible but as calm an environment as possible helps.

Thanks. Yep feed in a quiet room, usually just me and him as OH works most of the time. I will try the necklace and compressions thankyou x

My son is 15 weeks and doing the same thing!! He will scream at my boob! Then he is to worked up to eat. Then when he does eat he pulls at my boob! I know my supply is fine. It just seems like an aweful phase! He like to grab on and pull off my breat really hard, then smile at me. Not very cute!

My LO started thAt around 12 weeks. I was all freaked out because I had just started back to work and thought she prefered the bottle to me! It's just a stage and stops after a week or so.

MY LO is just 4 weeks, she has not screamed at my boobs yet, but she flails around while nursing. I think she might just be trying her legs out or something. It's slightly annoying, but as long as she is eating I don't mind. She nursed in a relaxed manner before a few days ago. Who knows.
