It's been a little while since I've been on but our little lady graced us with her presence on July 31st! My water broke at 4am at only 37+2. I was in denial for a few hours because I was stubbornly convinced I was going to go over due or at the very least to the due date. I was sure there was no way my water had broke. Plus I had things to do that day like spend the day with my 2 year old since it was her birthday, and bake her cake and prep for her party the next day etc. After finally being convinced it was not just a weak bladder problem we went to the hospital at 8am and sure enough it was my waters. I didn't contract on my own so they had to do pitocin which was awful.
My princess arrived at 11:50pm and now shares a birthday with her older sister! It was so exciting finding out the gender in that moment. She was a perfect 6lbs. 13oz and 18in long. My smallest baby by far and she's been quite a little angel for the most part.
