yes, it doesnt enter your blood stream so it wont transfer to your milk

Yes but one thing to keep in mind, at least for me anyway is: I often put my finger in LO's mouth to break his latch to switch sides to just plain get him off (otherwise he'd be there all day) so I don't like the fact it could chip into his mouth.

And Dr sears book says the fumes would be harmful if you painted your nails in the same room as baby.
