Our little man is going to be called George Trivett. We need help for a middle name, looking for something kind of modern, not anything to 'old' sounding. Thanks in advance! :)

Lucas, I love that boys name

Probably in the old category but the first name that came into my head straight away when I saw the name was Jonathan. I think it makes his name sound grand :)

Others:
Simon
Elliot
Anthony

For some reason nothing sounds right :( thank you for your replies x

Are there any names in your family you could go for? We're using DH's grandfather's name as a middle name in tribute to him. You still have a little while so might be worth looking through lists of boys names to get some inspiration.

H xx

Hey sweetie! :hi:
I know exactly what you mean, we have had Harrison as our boys first name for approx. 5 years now (surname is Lloyd) and we have struggled so so much in deciding on a boys middle name (had the girls sorted).

When we found out this little bundle is a boy it was game on with the name search... at first we looked at family names e.g Edward, Jack, Mark, Stuart, Andrew, Robert, David, Christopher. We decided in the end we didn't want to have a name that linked to any family members. I have a thing for more modern sounding names.

My OH seemed fixated on the 'R' section of the baby name books and I just didn't like anthing he suggested. Then one night the name just popped into my head! It will happen for you too i'm sure!

We are naming our little guy Harrison Rhys Lloyd.

Good Luck in your quest to find your little guys middle name!:flower:

Love the name for your little guy, it sounds perfect!
We were completely sorted for if it was a girl, she would have been called Olivia May - But isnt that always the way it works! I do love the name Joshua, but It doesnt quite sound right as George Joshua, I think it sounds better as Joshua George, but as we and everyone else have been calling him George it wouldnt feel right naming him something else! Im hoping we will come across something randomly, if not then he will just be a George lol.
Thanks for your reply hun :hugs:

George Lucas or Geaorge Luca sounds lovely!! My little man is going to be called Oliver Lucas!! :)

Haha! Oooh I could use that excuse to sit down and watch all the soaps .. Purely for the benefit of finding a baby name ;) :haha:
