My lo usually naps on me for all her day naps unless we are outside etc. During the naps she often dream feeds herself and does (it appears) have quite a bit of milk. We have started blw and i am thinking that i should try and get her to nap in her cot as then i will have time to prepare food, clean up etc and my dh is working away at the mo so i need to do all the house hold tasks which with lo sleeping on me is proving difficult. Im having to do everything whilst she is awake and feel really bad as im like mummy needs to do this first etc. I try to involve her and bring toys for her to play with for example when im preparing food etc but feel guilty. Also at night and i dont know whether this is connected to the day naps but early evening im up and downstairs constantly, i feed to sleep which im fine with and put her in the cot and she will sleep in there at night but continually wakes up for most of the evening and then the usually night time feeds. I wonder if the napping on her own during the day will help with her settling at night a bit more, im not sure and its not a huge issue but my question is if i do get her napping in the cot during the day will my supply dip or do you think she will just eat more when awake? she is in the 75th percentile so im not worried about weight but i dont want her to not gain as much due to loosing the nap feedings.

I'd say if you can put her in the cot for naps, then do it. She will make up another time if she needs to.

I'm the same my baby who is 3 months also naps on me during the day. Sometimes I do put her in her bouncer once she's asleep. I'm the same where I bf her to sleep so it's quite hard to then carry her upstairs into her cot without waking her up. i am going to try to start putting her in her cot for her lunchtime sleep but am not usually at home so it's difficult.
I don't think your supply will drop as she will probably just feed more during being awake.

Anyway good luck in what you choose to do x

Thanks we are staying as is, chores will have to wait.

Thanks again
