Nappy offer in Mothercare works out ALOT cheaper then Asda baby event!

Hey Bumps,

I thought I would just let you know you can get the newborn pampers in jumbo boxes (88 nappies per box) for £12 each in Mothercare or 3 boxes for £24! as it's 3 for 2

I was waiting for the Asda baby event but there's is £10 a box and not on a multibuy offer like mothercare

So I stocked up on 2 boxes of newborn nappies 6-13pounds then the bigger sizes 9-15 pounds so all in all I got 6 boxes of nappies for £48!

FYI I got 2 boxes for £14 at asdas not £10 each, 87 huggies in each box, that works out at 6 boxes of nappies for £42 and you end up with more nappies! So Asdas was cheaper. Also they do it on the ASDA own brand too which I am guessing would work out even cheaper.The cheaper offer applies to the pampers. I also got a whole box of wipes for £8. Check out the deals at both places. Happy bargin hunting ladies. xx

Yeah but that's Huggies what I haven't heard great things about mainly with them ripping etc and some people prefer pampers over Huggies so I thought I'd let them know about it.

I guess it just depends on what brand you want to use for me I'm going off recommendation from other mum's. I do know that the boxes of 9 wipes pampers sensitive in Asda works out cheaper though when the baby event goes into store

katielouisa Its really odd I was on another post about this yesterday. The event has already started where I live....

I know I was just letting people know that there are bargains (??) to be had at both events. I don't know anything about nappies so can't comment on the quality! Oh dear. To be honest they'll probably just end up falling off whichever brand I use due to incompetence at putting them on LOL!!

And to think OH was mentioning to me yesterday about how in some developing countries where they can't afford/don't have disposables etc they train their babies to wee/poo over a toilet/ bucket etc so don't need nappies - I asked him whether he thought I should trial this and whether he'd like to clean up the piles/pools of poo and wee off our floor lol!!
