sleeping seems to the a bone of contention in my house atm...Ollie has started sleeping through the night again after his sleep regression a couple of weeks ago THANK GOD!! but now he seems to not want to nap unless he's cuddled in even if i put him into his travel cot asleep where he used to nap he now wakes up and chats to himself rubbing his eyes for as long as i let him

the poor wee mite has a bit of a cold just now and is desperatly needing his sleep so i have been letting him sleep on me but that means for maybe an hour and half at a time i cant really move...my house is a mess and im cocerned it might get to the stage i starve to death at his nap time im not used to going more than half an hour without a cuppa and a biccy! lol

xx

Tobi is exactly the same, he is refusing his naps!
I manage to get him to drop off in his cot and within 2 minutes he's woken up and wants to get on with playing even though he is drooping from being sooo tired!
I have had to resort to having afternoon cuddles too. I am trying to put him down each time though, just to see if this is the time that it will sort it's self out!!
we can but hope!

I share your frustrations. Hazel doesnt nap very well during the day, the longest i get is 45 mins. Sometimes she only sleeps that when she is on me. Its tough going as she is tired alot of the time during the day. Havent any advice just wanted to say i understand how you feel. xx

My LO went through a stage like that a while back where she would only sleep on me for her nap. Just arm yourself with the remote control, something to munch on and get in a comfy position and just let him sleep on you and enjoy the peace for a while. Don't worry about the house work it will still be there when he wakes up and it will do you both the world of good :hugs:

p.s. After a few weeks of doing this my LO started to go to sleep for her naps in her cot.

i love hearing people are in the same boat as me..sometimes you think OMG im the only person in the world stuck to my couch heehee maybe its a developmental thing (i blame everything he does that i dont understand on that lol) xx

Same here!

She will sleep for hours on me only 15 mins or so on her own!!!

Evie is the same age as your LO so maybe it's developmental
