Nasty forums!!

This is a silly post, but I'm feeling a little bit low. I was on another forum seeking advice about mis sold mortgage compensation, and I just got completely hounded, judged and labelled as a money grabbing cow, and my integrity questioned for having a baby at a time when money has been tight. They really shattered my confidence and I thought nothing would make me feel better than you gals.

Bl**dy forum isn't even monitored so I had to report by email. Not much you can do to defend yourself when everyone is on your back.

I know some of you had reported other sites being vindictive unlike bnb... but I didn't really believe it till now

How odd that you would post this today! I have to say that I completely feel your pain!!! Just yesterday I was on another forum and attacked for trusting my pediatrician of all things. I had no idea that forums could be unfriendly like that... it really made me grateful that I could come back to this place!

She suggested I give Jonathan 1/2 an ounce of water mixed with 1/2 an ounce of juice to help him pass a constipated stool (which I did, and it absolutely helped him!). I didn't realize at the time that that forum would not "approve" of giving juice/water and suggested it to another forum member who was asking for advise about the same sort of situation... But ya know, different strokes for different folks! People ask for advise so they can weigh their options and take what they can from it.

I guess sometimes you get smacked in the head when trying to help?

God I don't know why people have to be so vindictive. I really don't see what's wrong with giving your LO a little juice to help his digestion. I think your dr would know better than them lol!

I have found that most forums are like that. I have just about taught myself that its not like I will ever meet the people in real life and to brush it off and if it bugs me that much then to imagine them as fat spotty old men in underwear who have nothing better to do

some people are w*nkers! and as for having a baby when money is tight, i keep saying to my mum i dont think we could afford another child (OH and I have 12k a year jobs) and her reponse was "never let money stop you.. look at all these mums in 3bed council houses, gardens, flat screens tvs etc without having done a days work in their lives" ..why should they have all the kids they want and be able to live.. and us working people not!? so i'll be having my babies if and when i want them ! (may be the wrong attitude but i completely agree with my mum..)

p.s. i am DEFINITELY not slating anyone who lives in a council house... i'm talking about people who don't work =)
