This is a bit embarrsing to ask but I figured I might as well go for it :)

When :sex: while TTC.. does it matter or is it beneficial for the woman to orgasm? I am just wondering if this helps "move" the :spermy: along or encourages fertilization or anything. I'm just wondering of the mechanics of it and if it makes a difference. I don't know why.. LOL

I'm sure its a dumb question.. I was just curious!

    Hey!
Yes, I've heard that it helps too. Apparently, it helps to create a vacuum effect (or something like that!) - that's what I've been telling my husband anyway...!

apparently it does help as you orgasam your cervix pulseates which draws the sperm upwards into your uterus.

Read this in a book last night, says it's not essential but it opens the cervix more and kind of pushes the swimmers in the right direction (sure that isn't the scientific way of writing it but hey....)
