Is anyone else able to predict when nausea will hit based on the time of day? I know that when I get out of bed, I'll have some mild heartburn-like discomfort. I eat a little snack, some dry cereal or crackers and the heartburn disappears. Between 8:30 am and 9 am, the nausea hits worse. Sometimes it's been to the point of sporadic, sudden dry heaving into my office garbage can and sometimes it just makes me feel awful. That usually lasts for some intensity until 1 to 2 pm and then I start feeling amazing and super hungry. By the time I'm leaving work at five and get into my car, the nausea is coming back.
Does anyone else have it like this? You know when it's going to hit and so you just sit and wait for it?

nope mine's been all over the place but just started two days ago...not fun!

Mine was all over the place when it started

Mine is more at night when i get ready for bed....but i get waves of it throughout the day as well!! :)

up til today - my nausea and sickness has been strictly evenings and during the night. However - I got really sick last night and have not felt any better since then - I have had constant nausea with some sickness now for 20 hours. give or take the few I managed to sleep lol.

Oh poor thing, I would rather have set times than constant for sure!

yea, I know tell me about it - I thought I'd gotten away with having it badly, and am now praying that this is temporary and passes pretty quickly. I've tried everything today lol - sleeping, eating, plenty of water - nothing is helping lol.

Good luck with yours and fingers crossed it passes soon for everyone xx

Mint gum helps with mine more than anything but I'm not sure why!

Mine is about an hour after I wake up. Usually get's bad... Right about now. 9:30. Lasts until 11:30 or so... sometimes it comes back. I've had a few times it was ALL DAY LONG.

I woke up yesterday at like 3:00 a.m. with it! & it has been with me ever since :( Ughhh it is so aggravating, I wish I Only had it certain times of the day instead of 24hrs a day. :nope:

I get mine around 8 at night. it stinks...I'm trying to tell my daughter bed time stories and I'm like, oh hold on a sec, Mommy has to go to the potty. YAK! fun times.

Then again, I just had some wicked reflux and it's not even 2 pm. Fabulous. It's spreading...lilke the plague!! HA HA HA HA

That's more how mine is but it seems to come back in the evenings. I got the super hungries at noon, ate a massive lunch and now the nausea is back. It probably won't go away now :growlmad:

And you know every single one of us has PRAYED for this...

See- I never get hungry hungry hungry thoughout the day- just small snacks all day long (pretty sure that is what helps it stay away). The two days that it was horrid I didn't drink chocolate milk before I got out of bed (That'll learn me!)

Maybe I need to switch to small meals, I told hubby I was going to try it and haven't yet. With my work schedule, it's had to get snacks in. I eat breakfast but by the time lunch rolls around I'm famished and shove a ton of food in then start feeling poorly again. It's a vicious cycle, I feel sick when I'm hungry and I feel sick when I'm full.

I ate small amounts throughout the day yesterday and was still queasy all day...didn't get sick but queasy..

There are definitely some days that I stay queasy but there are most days that if I eat as often as 45 mins (and I'm talking a handful of snack) and wait no more than 2 hrs I seem to do pretty good. Half a sandwich does good.

Thanks for the pointers, I'm going to have to give that a shot. I know i'm not supposed to let my stomach get empty but I eat a fair amount at breakfast-a bowl of fruit and some oatmeal so i figure that should last me until lunch but maybe not.

I would recommend eating the oatmeal, then waiting an hour and eating the fruit. Try it like that and just eat half the amount, wait an hour or 2 then eat the rest. I've found it to be really handy

Great, I will definitely give that a shot. Just spread out what I already eat over 2-3 hours. Anything to not feel so puny!
