Nausia before Test?

My AF was due yesterday, but my dollar store test this morning said negative. I've had a bit of a queezy stomach and cramps for a few days now. Is it possible for hormone levels to be high enough to cause nausia, but not high enough for a test to connect? It was a Medi Care test.

Yes. I was horribly nauseous with my last pregnancy for about 3 or 4 days before I got my bfp. It was weird!
