nearly 20 weeks no movement

Hey guys,

i think i'm just being paranoid but i'm nearly 20 weeks pregnant now and haven't really felt any movements yet, just wondered whether anybody else is in the same boat? This is my second baby and can't really remember when i felt my first for the first time , probably just worrying for no reason but hey ho isn't that what us pregnant women do? lol xxxx

I didnt feel my baby until 21 wks this time, now feel her a few times a day. If you are worried call the mw and she should be able to put your mind at rest. Xx

I agree if your worried maybe give your mw a call, however I know some women don't feel much movement because of the position the baby's in...have you had your 20weeks scan yet? Because at the scan they tell you baby's position, I have heard not to worry unless you get to 24 weeks and still felt no movement, but Hopefully it's down to the baby's position or something..x

I did not feel movement strongly and daily till 21-22 weeks as I have an anterior placenta. Now I feel him daily and today he is trying to do a jail break

Always call ur MW when worrying xxx

cheers ladies, i haven't had my scan yet that's a week today, i know with my first they said something about the position of my placenta so i wouldn't feel him early early maybe it's the same this time and also i have a lot more tummy now than i did with my first maybe that might be why too xxx

My doctor told me it may take upto 20-22 weeks to feel movements. But as PP said you can call your m/w and she may be able to put your mind at rest.
