Well we did have a cot that had been saved for us from dh's sister from when hers were little, and really wanted to use it as dh's grandma who is sadly no longer with us had bought it for them and it had a lot of sentimental value.

Dh's sister had lent it to a friend earlier this year when they had family visiting from the USA for their grandchild, but they've lost the bolts that hold the base of it in place :growlmad:

I'm really annoyed because we can't get replacements as it's over 12 years old and I've even contacted Mamas and Papas to see if they had replacements but they don't :nope:

So, we need a reasonably priced cot as we've got a cot mattress already, any ideas ladies or opinions on these?

I have to admit the mothercare and M&P's ones the best!

the best thing to do if you are looking for a good quality cot but at a reasonably price would be to wait till boxing day for the sales  well thats what where doing haha! but iv been lookin around over last few days and found that a lot of places hav already got sales on their nursery furniture.. Check out babiesrus as they have loads of cots and cot beds on sale.. :happydance: hope this helps xxx

John Lewis start their sale at 6pm Xmas eve online. The cots you've chosen are all nice have you looked at boots too and there is a shop called lesters nursery world which is really reasonably priced. Hope this helps

I saw a lovely antique style cotbed on the John Lewis sale preview today

that one is gonna be reduced to £98.50:thumbup: gorgeous eh?

Can't you get a carpenter / joiner type dude to find alternative replacements to the parts that are missing and put the cot together for you? That's if you and your OH don't feel confident doing it yourself with brackets and suchlike (not sure I would but I'm RUBBISH at that sort of thing)

Good luck anyway x
