I didn't think i'd be bothered about people ringing if i went over my due date but i;'m getting pissed off with the endless phone calls text messages FB messages '' have you not gone yet ?? '' or 'c.mon get this baby out ! '' F**K OFF
What part of ' I'LL LET YOU KNOW WHN ANYTHING HAPPENS DO PEOPLE NOT UNDERSTAND'' GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR - Gettting to me

How annoying! I would turn my phone off and change my answerphone message to...

"Hi, this is ***. No I have not had the baby yet, or gone into labour yet. I will update family and friends as soon as he has arrivede. Please feel free to leave a supportive message after the tone"

With a similar one as auto-response on the e-mail, lol!

This REALLY annoys me too, especially when you're fed up of waiting and people keep making you feel as if you have some kind of control over when you go into labour. Soooo annoying!

I'm getting this already as LO tried to escape at 28 and 35 weeks both stopped at the hospital. Now my landline is unplugged and mobile is on silent. Same people texting and FB all day and night

I will not be answering the phone to anyone but my husband around my due date! I had a dream the other night that MIL rung and said any sign of that baby yet and I just said back nope cant see it yet! Grrrrr, turn your phone off hun x

It's nice to know people generally care and are excited for you. But it can get annoying. The same one with 'How far have you got to go now' ... it's like saying 'two days less than the last time you asked me'

Very true kitty17- some of my Oh's family havnt bothered with me but now suddenly ' checking in ! '
It is nice to know that people care etc and want to meet him too but i can't be arsed with the same conversation every phone call or text -i keep saying - i'll text you if i go in labour ! it is falling on deaf ears it seems ! grrr- x x

i was thinking that people who i havent spoke to in months are texting me asking if ive had him or in labour. as if i am going to be texting people in labour i will be concentrating on getting this baby out!

but friends r getting to me because i said only family at the hospital and when i ask them to grrrr x

That would be VERY annoying. Its almost like don't they realize we want the baby here as well and constantly reminding us that isn't yet only makes it worse. Is there a way you could maybe block FB messages? Phone calls temporarily till the time does come?
