Need Advice Please

I am 25 and have been trying to conceive. Ive took a few hpt and got negative results. I actually look pregnant in my stomach now. Went to my ob and he didnt even examine me just told me he doesnt think im pregnant and that my stomach looking so big is my stomach muscles growing like that then he goes on to say that i dont event have menstural cycles which is false. He wants me to start on a medicine to help me get pregnant. Should I get a second opinion from another phys or trust my ob??

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated i really dont know what to do

Why would he say you don't even have menstrual cycles if you know you do? That's weird.. How long are your cycles? If you need to make sure your not pregnant, go see your GP and ask him to do a quantitive blood test. Tell a little fib and say you're late for your period and you think you see a second line, haha. If you don't they may not give you a blood test. That will tell you 100% if you're pregnant or not as it measure the amount of hcg in your system. xx

Thats what i have been trying to figure out. My cycles are normally an average of 26 days. Which i tried to explain to my doctor and he would not listen to it and wants me to start taking medicine. And thanks for the advice on going to the gp i will try that

I would defiantly get another ob.. someone who will LISTEN to you and won't just shove medicine down your throat without doing testing or anything! Let me know how it goes, wish you the best, lots of baby dust! xx

My ob office called me earlier and all they would tell me is that my quantitative level is low. She would give me no explanation except to take the medicine the doctor gave me. So I have scheduled an appt with a new physician for Friday to see if they will do an ultrasound and tests to see whats going on

My HCG was low (like 5) and my OBGYN told me I wasn't pregnant because the levels were too slow. Anyway, a week later, it was 500. If your levels are low, you're just very very early in your pregnancy. the only thing that matters is you're pregnancy test was positive! You should ask what the number was.

Wow they didn't tell you what they were! How cryptic! You're either not pregnant, or VERY early in pregnancy... like the baby just implanted that day of the blood test. Anything above 5 is pregnant, 5 being borderline. I'd try an HPT in like 3 days with FMU and you should get a positive then as hcg doubles every 24-48 hours xx

Please don't take ANY meds until you get another blood test..If the levels go up you are pregnant. How late are you for AF?

Went to another ob today and she did examine me she says i look pregnant but during her exam said my uterus is small and thats all she said she ordered an ultrasound but that isnt till October 10th

I have never looked pregnant til past 20wks both pregnancies!!

Most folk are not showing in the first 12wks or so anyway.

Have you tested again recently?

Hope the 10th october comes quickly!

There was a woman in 2nd trimester recently who just found out she was pregnant at around 16wks! Could be you soon.....
