Hi everyone. This is my first time month tracking my BBT everyday. This chart shows november, but December is when I started tracking daily. I started charting on Friday December 19th. AF started December 13th this month. I feel my numbers are all over the place. This is my first time
TTC. Any help in interpreting my chart would be greatly appreciated. My breasts have been sore and I have had ovulation pain the past few days. I am very confused. My husband and I have been having sex a lot this whole month. Thanl you so much in advance.

Hi there!

If AF started December 13, add the details in your chart. Otherwise it cant say when your next AF is, when to test, when ovulation will be etc.

Your temps are quite low at the moment so I don't think it looks like ovulation has occurred yet, unless I've misinterpreted it?

How long are your cycles usually as the chart says you are on CD45, which is quite a long cycle.

My cycles are usually 30 days. When I started charting I think I should have created a new chart, but I just went to my old one that I had started and that's why there are so many days.

Here is my updated chart with the date of my period.

That's better :) I'd say keep temping, maybe you have ovulated today or so and that's why the temp hasn't gone up just yet. I sometimes ovulated from CD18-CD19 on a 30 -32 day .

Once your temps go up and stay up for 3 consecutive days you will get crosshairs to confirm your ovulation date.

Good luck!

I'm considering bbt so appreciate this! Should temp go up or down when ovulating?

Temp goes up after ovulation. So the day the temp goes up is the day after ovulation.

It will go up by a few points. So for example, before ovulation, my temp stayed around 36.2 (give or take a few .degrees), then post ovulation it would go to 36.4c, all the way to 36.7 or so. Then the day AF was expected, it dropped back down to 36.2. I'll attach a couple of charts.

With this chart I dismissed a couple of High temps, maybe I woke up late, but I knew they weren't correct.

You can see when the ovulation day is and the temp drop for AF to come on.
